Jeff Kernen, the Planning & Development Manager for the City of Cobug, explains some of the city’s unique design requirements by tracing them back to the town’s origins in the 1850s. Though much evolved from the golden days when this property was the old mill and pond, the city’s building codes continue to reflect the value Coburg places on community development and historic preservation.
In taking a collaborative approach with the Coburg Planning Department from day one, John Webb has been able to design every aspect of the Hatfield Street Spec Home to fit seamlessly and effortlessly into its environment while supporting the community, respecting the land’s history and planning for the town’s future.
